Contact persons
A name and a face instead of a general service number. The plugin manages contact persons as records of their own – with photo, group, address and contact details – and shows them where they are needed.
Assignment happens through a custom field, at four different places: to a category, to a product, to a customer group or to an individual customer. Which blocks appear – image, address, contact – is controlled by the plugin configuration per sales channel.
Route 1 · On the category – visible without login
Two contact persons are assigned to this category. They are visible to every visitor, even without a customer account. This is exactly how a range gets its specialist: floor coverings to technical advice, occupational safety to sales.

Routes 2 and 3 · On customer group and customer – in the account
These two routes lead into the customer account: the menu entry Contact persons appears there with everyone assigned to the customer or to their customer group.
A demo account is set up for trying this out. Sign in with rita.gewerbe@bui-hinsche.com, the password is the e-mail address itself. The account belongs to the trade customers group and therefore sees three people: sales and accounting through the group, the order desk personally.
Route 4 · On the product – the product adviser
The last route attaches the contact person to a single product. They then appear below the product description – useful for goods that need explaining, where a wrong order gets expensive.
Demonstrated on the 80 × 80 cm porcelain stoneware: technical advice sits right next to the goods. This requires the product to have a layout of its own, because Shopware's standard layout is locked.
